Because we do not want to stand by passively. Our affluent society still produces too many losers: children and young people who have no chance of success because they lack basic prerequisites. These are the powers of concentration, self-confidence, perseverance, dedication, and hope.
Because also in future we want to live in a society in which everybody has a real chance of prosperity. A world in which everybody has the right to develop and to achieve private and professional success.
We believe that children and teenagers need to achieve things. They need scope for development and the feeling of togetherness that comes from working in groups.
They need rules and real situations that offer them real challenges. Only by undergoing this process will they grow.
Because children who do not make achievements miss each time important chances to develop, which are hardly ever made available to them again in later life.
Because we want to change something!
